Haseeb's Achievements

Haseeb is a talented design leader with a strong drive to help design teams mature and become much more effective. I worked with Haseeb when I was Head of Digital Design & Experience at a large Canadian enterprise and he set-up our DesignOps practice, defined our team vision, mission and mandate, as well as standardized our design roles, careers paths and work processes. Overall I was very happy with the work and thought leadership Haseeb delivered and the strong impact he had on our team maturity.

I think you've been an excellent partner and leader in the standing up of so many amazing initiatives this year (2022) and I so appreciate you. I find you to be highly innovative, intelligent and efficient in your approach to both design and strategy, and generally very ambitious in imagining what is possible for our function in design ops and also as a broader design team. You are also a super passionate and talented designer and UX thought leader and the outputs you generate really reflect that. You are a very good and confident verbal communicator and presenter. I've noted that you are careful to ensure a baseline level of context and understanding in your audience before getting to the content of what you're sharing, and this is extremely helpful. You are very collaborative and a pleasure to brainstorm and ideate with! You've led the team through many really well designed and facilitated workshops over the year we worked together, and the results you gathered were meaningful and actionable. You are great at identifying and taking action on initiatives that help build up the culture and design practice of the team. You keep a positive and optimistic outlook in the face of challenges (and in the case of the team, occasional low morale). You have a strong and passionate point of view on processes and approaches and this kind of leadership is so great to have on the team!

I have been working in Haseeb's team for over a year at MobileLive Inc and a *Large Canadian Enterprise*. I've learned a lot from him during this time; he is a great mentor and a significant leader with a growth mindset who always seeks to uplift his team's spirit and brings the best out of everyone. He is very transparent, empathetic and kind toward his team and his colleagues. He is very creative in leadership and sets up multiple professional development activities for his team to improve their skills and knowledge. He is very good at building collaborative relationships between his team members. Any team in any company that has Haseeb as their leader is the luckiest.

Haseeb was a delight to work with as the Lead UX designer for the *Large Canadian Enterprise's* Business website and he integrated seamlessly within our team. We were impressed by Haseeb’s level of UX expertise and his refreshing, thoughtful approach to sharing solutions with stakeholders. He always took initiative, went above and beyond with all tasks, and greatly improved our ways of working with the UX team overall. Not only does Haseeb possess a strong UX skillset, but he's also passionate about what he does.

Haseeb is one of the most talented designers and brilliant minds I've worked with in my career. During multiple assignments we have worked together, I've seen Haseeb's design inputs and creations always giving the company and the team the winning edge. Some of the exceptional skills Haseeb has are:
1) Excellent understanding of business context, user persona and needs
2) Ability to translate high level, open ended, ambiguous requirements into designs that capture both stated and un-articulated needs of business users
3) Extremely quick to grasp new concepts
4) Not just blindly creating UI mockups - bringing tremendous amounts of original thoughts that would amaze the stakeholders
5) Fast turnaround and always there for the team
6) Finally, impeccable graphic/UI design skills!
I can safely say each time I worked with Haseeb he exceeded my expectations.

Haseeb is an excellent manager from the very first day I met him. I have been working under his supervision for more than 1 year now. He sets realistic goals and gives reasonable deadlines to complete the goals. Plus, he is a good listener and always pays attention to the details. His understanding of people’s needs is outstanding, so much so that everyone working under him feels comfortable. On top of that, Haseeb is a great motivator. He instills positive energy in every team member, keeping everyone focused on what needs to be achieved.

He is particularly concerned about my personal grooming which inspires me to give my best shot (that I tryyy :D). Telling me about how I can improve my interpersonal and soft skills for better communication. He is super concerned about my work-life balance. Asks me about my routine, to get to know me better. He himself is a true example of work-life balance. He ensures that we find time for ourselves too while working. I am super comfortable since Haseeb gives me the space to share all of my concerns, ideas, suggestions, or any feedback. He is a good listener too. He does recognize my work and ensures to acknowledge that on all organizational levels, appreciates small efforts, and gives constructive feedback.
